About me
I’m a freelance journalist, specialising mainly in politics and social issues. I have experience using a variety of mediums to deliver high-quality results, with my main specialisms being print and radio journalism.
I’ve written for a variety of online sources, such as Clerkenwell’s EC1 Echo, the political opinion website Europinion, and most frequently Politics UK’s news page.
Politics
I’m very engaged in both UK and international politics, making this the predominant focus of the majority of my journalism. As former deputy editor of Politics UK and Politics Global, I’ve got lots of experience in the sector.
Radio
I’m experienced in both live and pre-recorded audio, having worked in professional recording studios as both a presenter and producer, as well as working on-the-go and on-location.
TV
I have extensive experience working as both a producer and presenter in industry standard TV studios. I’ve also worked on-location, creating short feature programmes on social issues, suitable for both TV and social media.
Social Issues
Another main area of focus for my journalism is social issues. Whether it’s homelessness, protests, unemployment, or something else, I’ve created journalism in a variety of mediums on several themes.
Producing & Shooting
I have experience using an array of different audio and video recording equipment, both in studios and on-location. I’m also competent at editing in both visual and audio mediums using Adobe, for successful, high-quality output.
